Stride Biome and Bloods

I'm more than satisfied with these two parts of my '' journey '' and the results are re-assuring as far as the future is concerned as regards remedial actions, and I consider them to be good value for money. I particularly value the interview with the nutritionalist , which went very smoothly on Google ''meet'', and was a pleasure to converse with somebody who knows what they are talking about for a change. I don't believe I could find better service anywhere else. I am now looking forward to further improvements when I get checked in six months time, especially the biome.

This company could do better

This company could do better, very pushy on selling extras with endless emails. I purchased the methylation report and very satisfied with layout, speed of testing but, I also purchased Optimal DNA report which was great to. But my results for the optimal DNA test has disappeared from my dashboard, my sleep, fitness, stress and skin reports. Funny that, because I've been getting emails to buy the optimal Health DNA report, which I already had. But mysteriously is now missing from my dashboard. Crafty company and very bad customer service. I've tried emailing them in the past and never got a reply. This company could be great if it was more focused in delivering a good service instead of revenue. And trying to sell back to me a test I had already paid for.

Reversed under active thyroid

Life changing

There is one recommendation that I am giving to all my friends and family. And that is to go and get their DNA tested at Stride. I have never been so full of energy, slept so well and been so focused. I am currently training for an Ironman event and my body is adapting so much better to the conditions due to the right methylated vitamins being consumed by my body. It was easy and straight forward and the call I had afterwards was really helpful. I can now also have a good understanding on what foods I can consume and what I should reduce. Like I said in the title life changing.

I paid for the full test kit x 2 every…

I paid for the full test kit x 2 every 6 months because the reviews looked quite positive. The blood test was quick and efficient, the third party rang me and arranged an appointment for the next day. I got my results back about a week later. They tested alot of different things which was useful and I think good for money. My DNA results took about 2 weeks and I thought the results were interesting but could have more content as it didn’t tell me much. I sent my biome test on the 7th October and didn’t hear back until the 4th November which seems like a looong time. I’ve done a gut test before and results were about 14 days with a clear detailed video report from a doctor. These were the results I was most anticipating so it was a pain to wait so long to see what was going on in my gut. Customer service reply to emails quite quickly but wish they could give a more accurate date of when I’d be getting the results, they just said latest by 4th Nov. I’m taking the stride daily supplement which I got for free and I would repurchase this, it’s got all the vitamins I need in a sachet and easy to drink. It’s the 7th now and I’m still waiting for my video consult or report from someone not sure what it’s supposed to be but haven’t heard anything (this should be available as soon as all of the results are). Slightly annoyed I purchased the double kit as I don’t think the biome kit gave me the everything I needed to know, wasn’t very detailed and would probably have purchased a different one. Think the taxonomic data is pretty useless but wouldn’t know because no-one’s spoken to me about it. Just needs some work overall so will see again in 6 months! ***update 11th November added a star as my consultation with Bianca was very helpful and I have more direction now***

The follow-up call with Monsa was excellent her knowledge and understanding of nutrition made sense and wasn't the general jargon GPS give you she delivered the information excellently and would highly recommend for anyone experiencing unexplained symptoms.

I found stride while looking for a UK…

I found stride while looking for a UK based methalation test , I looked through their vast website , and found the email contact address , emailed and got talking to one of their collegues , once the test was booked , it took just a couple of days to arrive , the next day it was returned and then around a 10 day wait for the results. I did need some help figuring out what I needed and booked a consultation , once I gained the insight to what I needed it is all plain and simple . Really helpfull and knowlegeable staff.

Supplement validation

I was very impressed with the level of reporting and the feedback session. The stride advisor was very good at explaining in simple terms my results and what I could do to improve my health in areas relating to my DNA results and the micro-biome testing. The supplement was suggested as a solution but it was such a soft sell.....to the point she recommended other stand alone supplements. I appreciated that as it didn't feel like i was being badly advised. I also did some quite extensive research using AI to test the recommendation's and the reporting and to prepare questions to ask at my review. I was very pleased to see how well they aligned. Ive being taking the supplement for 6-12 months now and I see it as an integral part of my proactive approach to my health and wellbeing. I will do follow up tests in due course to review my markers and adjust any supplements accordingly. My aim is to take the majority of supplementation from natural food sources and only top up with what my markers tell me I need, rather than just take for the sake of it. Overall I'm very happy with the Stride programme.
